The favourite's odds are generally lower. For example, if Team B's odds are 1.50 (fractional 1/2, American −200), a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,500 — a profit of only ৳500. American minus odds tell you how much you need to stake to make a profit of 100.
In a cricket match (no draw in limited-overs formats), if Team A's odds are 1.80 and Team B's are 2.00, a ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,000 if they win — a profit of ৳500. If Team A wins, that ৳500 is lost.

Bet Slip — How to Understand Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on any selection adds it to the bet slip automatically. A single bet places a wager on one event only. Enter an amount in the stake box and the potential return is shown immediately.
A multi bet (or accumulator) means placing multiple selections on one bet slip — you only receive the full return if every selection wins. The odds multiply together, so if even one selection loses, the entire stake is lost.
Example: three selections with odds of 1.40, 1.50 and 1.60. Multiplied together: 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳336 if all three win — but if even one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.

Betting Exchange — How Back and Lay Work
In an exchange market, backing Team A at odds of 1.80 with a ৳500 stake gives you a profit of ৳400 (minus commission) if Team A wins; if they do not win, you lose ৳500. Laying Team A (betting against them winning) means you receive ৳500 (minus commission) if Team A does not win, but if Team A wins you must pay ৳400 — that is your liability.
Open and Settled Bets — Check Your Bet History
After placing a bet it stays as an "open bet" until the match or game result is decided. The bet history tab in the account section shows all active bets — which market, how much, at what odds, and when it was placed.
Once the result is announced, the bet becomes "settled". If you win, the amount is added to your balance; if you lose, the stake is deducted. A full record of settled bets remains in history — date, event, stake, odds and return.
It is a good idea to check your history regularly to understand your betting patterns. Knowing how much you are losing and which types of bets you win more often helps you manage your budget.
